The long legged fly I have seen are usually small, and its about say, 4-5mm in size? Well, today, I saw a jumbo one! About 1cm....or definitely larger than those I see.

Here are some pics of it. 1st shot is to show some persepctive of the size....fly is not sharp

#2 and #3 are about the same, but different areas are in better focus. Appreciate if you let me know which is better. THANKS!

Dayum! Exactly how close did you have to get to take #2 and #3? I can NEVER get that close to anything with a pulse.

With my setup, distance is abt 19cm.
