Hi, The cat bailed it up this morning in the back yard. Rescued, photographed and released. A harmless 3 foot grass snake. The 'jungle' at the bottom is my forearm. Was quite pleased with the result as it was a one hand operation ! Cheers Mike

nice redcliffe.

it's good that you know what kind of snake before you "Rescued, photographed and released." I don't know what I would be doing if I saw one in my back yard. Heck, I might wack 'em good with a shovel then I take some pictures. :G But again, good job.

The stance of the snake is what really gives this pic interest, not to mention the hairy forearm.

Nice shot. The LZ2 does a pretty good job with close-ups and is not a bad little camera.
