I know I am tempted but will most likely wait either to get a DSLR or maybe to see what the FZ40 holds (or whatever they call it)

Getting a dSLR has one thing in common even the Oly E-Volt is not immune to it.

The need to clean the sensor. If you are not up to speed with that then I suggest you look into it more so than the megapixels, lenses and auto focus speed.

Definitely not something I like with my dSLR.

The problem with waiting is that you miss out on all the fun features available that you could be using right N O W. It's agony. I waited and waited (and waited) for a higher MP count, ISO, and faster write speeds...etc, etc. Always ended up being not quite sure and passed up a lot of cameras as they came out. That's it for me. No more waiting. Scooped up the 30, and man, I am enjoying it. What a relief. I believe it will do me til the next really great jump in performance for the buck arrives. For y'all who already have something good enough to tide you over I applaude your patience. But seriously, this ones a keeper. Best regards,
