2 - panorama of 13 vertical IMAGES (much details are lost at this downsized format)

These are great Narmer. That's one large rock! When you're shooting panoramas, are you using a level or any other helpers to make sure everything lines up, or just using the tripod and carefully panning with each shot? Just wondering what method or steps you take, as I've never tried anything over 3 photos to stitch together. Cheers.......thekman.

Neither Level nor even tripod, Thekman620.

The important is to leave a 15% of commonmargin between successive photos.

Panorama Maker 3 makes a good job (I use the even easier Autostitch or the very complex PTAssembler only when I have time and the Arc Soft program proved unuseful -rarely as I told before).

And it is strange that stitchings come out fine, for most of my single shots with my FZ20 (both landscape and in portrait orientation) come out 1-2° askew (I should use the 2/3 grid in the LCD) ... I don't know why, for with smaller copmpacts I generally take perfectly horizontal shots !

PS this is a fish-eye like stitching of three ISO 200, slow shutter times, handheldnight pics with FZ20
