Clivea (Kaffir Lily) from Sth Africa are best grown in the shade very hardy and very little watering needed.
The leaves fan out and are very dark green and strap like, the plant produces multiple offshoots.

some PP in PScs2

This is very good! These colours are hard to get right when photographing them. I have more trouble with red and orange flowers than I care to think about. Well done........thekman.

Beautiful flowers & pic John. Are they large or is it just the perspective? They would look great in my north facing entrance. I only get very slight morning sun there.

Hiroshi they are about 15-20 inches high and the flower heads are 5 inches in diameter
you will find them in USA for sure

They love shade and grow well under trees  they are fine in containers too.

That position would be perfect Hiroshi

btw it was a lowdown perspective shot
