Hi all thanks for the encouragement. That cat photo was one of 10 I took. It seemed to be the sharpest.

The last photo was that with the Fuji or Pana?

This is one that did not focus properly, althoughthe camerawas 10cm away with a 6600 WA on.

Thanks

Allan

Hi

It was with the Fuji, no problems with flash shots but daylight shots all looked soft with a general lack of detail, a problem I've never had even with the 2Mp FZ1

I'll try and get a shot of one of our cats with the FZ30 and add it to this post :-)

A bit of luck, both cats were having a midday nap!, this is Tabbatha ....

And this is the baby, Sophie ....

Both taken with flash using AP at F8, ISO100

Netta looking more "normal". She always has that "wide-eyed look"

Wow, what great shots -- I got such a kick out of them!

Here are my two Himalayan cats, Molly (female, left) and Kobi (Male, right). Sweet as can be. It's like having two little teddy bears running around the house. The picture was taken last year using my previous camera, a Lumix LC70. I will be adopting a third Himalayan at the end of the month. :-)
