You folks think those 2 butterflys are alive, or dead-bug-pinned to that branch?
If they are alive it is a pretty amazing shot... Guess I'm just a skeptic.

It could be that they are alive, why not? Atleast pinned ones usually are with spread wings.
But I don't like picture quality though :roll:

CerambyX and trooplewis, Regarding your comments on whether the butterflys were alive or not. We probably will never know for sure but I can say that I have seen the same butterflys before and taken some pictures of them, and they get into interesting positions where it appears to be one object with large eyes looking at you! I'm including two of my pictures to show what I mean. Regards, Jim

Thanks Andy, I think they were refering to the picture of the day which had two similar butterflys on a branch. :-)

What a rare sight!Talk about right place right time.The "eyes" are staring right at you. #2reminds me of a couple of tropical fish.
