Does anyone know if the Canon 420EZ Speedlite or the Canon 244T Speedlite will work with the FZ30 ? Thanks, Jim

It should work in manual or auto if the flash has these modes; if not , you can use it only in full power, no ttl of course.

You may also have to isulate all pins except the center one. A simple plastic with a hole will do.

Hi All

If all Canon flashes have the same configuation shoe and the fz20's hotshoe is the same as the FZ30's then it should work.

I have used a friends speedlite (the big one much more reash than sunpak 544) on a fz20. Bit of a waste since the flash costs nearly as much as my FZ20
