Hey, I never said it was defective, and I admitted that I have to warm up to new things (not crazy about change). I was just reporting on my initial experiences, I did mention that I will re-evaluate the camera when I feel comfortable with it, and if I still have my FZ20, go back and try and shoot with it to compare. It is a really cool camera!

Your right, "defective" was my description of choice after I read your reviews! I'm sure after you get all the bugs worked out it will become your favorite camera. :-)

I do like the camera, a lot. I guess I was trying to report accurately my feelings (like a reporter would) of my first shoot out with the camera. Us girls, always talkin' bout our feelin's.........I do plan on doing a few shoots, becoming comfortable with the camera, and then writing another review, and go back to shooting with my FZ20 also, to see the difference/improvements that the 30 has over the 20. As you can see from the pics I did get some good ones. And compared to the FZ20, fuggedaboudit! -- most would be out of focus (ok, so maybe 1/3 - "if I told you once I told you over a billion times, NEVER EXAGGERATE!!!!!")

We need more FZ30 picture posts! Should I post this as a separate topic? Also, I know some of you look (is troll the correct word?) at steve's picture forum, if you see FZ30 pics, can u please post a link in this forum, or just mention it. I usually just have time for this forum (my favorite!). Sometimes I look/post in the Canon EOS forum, but it is just not the same as here, you guys are like family.
