As promised, took my new boyfriend out for a spin upstate. Gotta say, I do really like the cam, BUT I found a lot of stuff that I will get used to but I am not happy on a lot of levels. On the other levels, the quick start up time, and the swivel screen has really made the camera worth it for the upgrade (from the FZ20). Here are some pics, the critique to follow:

I like the shots Nancy,

Just some snaps to see how this camera does in what looks like an overcast not too sunny day.

Looks good as well as your family. I would like to see some serious compositions made by this camera when you get the time.

Mahalo,

Tom

I am dying to do another shoot! I do like the camera, I did critique it fairly harshly but I was just being honest. As with anything I need to get accustomed to it, and I will write another review when that happens. And if I still have my FZ20 I will go back to it just for sake of comparison. The weather in NYC is beautiful today, but I am going to see Jason Mraz and have to head out, so...no time to shoot.

Nancy, All great shots! Super color and detail ! For a "defective" camera you sure worked your magic on it! Come on admit it you love that camera!:-) Jim
