Hello John thanks for looking and commenting.

I so wanted #3 to work and am happy it came out so well. I am on my second FZ30 and now know that the other camera had many focus error problems. However the other problems are still there. The Camera shoots too blue / grey for my taste. This is also substantiated in the color tests http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicfz30/page6.asp Red-1 blue +. 6. They call it excellent I call it consistently blue.
I have the W/B set 4 clicks to the left toward red. I run sharpness high because I feel the noise adjustment reduces sharpness.

No.3 is the best of the 3 - the exposure and the detail in the picture looks spot on and the colours realistic. Hows the new FZ30? Have you noticed anything different with it compared to the previous one.
