Zooms do great macros

Here are the test results between the FZ10 and the FZ30 closeness counts $20.00 bill

The reason the pictures are not sharp enough is because the magnification exceeds the definition of the image.

These are two test shots of the DCR250 with the FZ10 w/ CRing adapter and FZ30
Both are done with the standard Raynox spring mount. From what I see my special TRing will produce a better image. I do not have the tools to mock up the results.
I tried to make the shots asclose as possible. Can you see a difference?

I sure can.

Witch one is fz10 and Fz30 ? for me the "One" is shaper
Picture ONE andOne crop are from the FZ30. Lens base is 3mm on FZ30 and 5.84mm on the CRing adapter.

So there is a difference in image quality I expect this to get better with the new 43mmTRing .78mm instead of 3mm.

I have tested both the WCOn08B and WCON08E on the FZ30. The E performs better with less edge fall off softness.
Are WCON-08B and WCON-08E the same lens with different mount size?

Thanks.

Sorry Lovelife, I have one more question.

How is the images quality produced by dcr-6600? Are they better, worse or the same as those produced by wcon-08b?

Thanks.
It depends on the the FZ model:

FZ 10/15/20 with CRing adapter small pin spot vignette at 1X it gets worse withincreased zoom.

Wcon08B no vignetting but more distortion.

I will add a WCON 08 picture tomorrow.

FZ30 The DCR6600 demo pictures are up above.

The Wcon08B is ok just ok.

The HD6600 with a 55m is due next month.

Thanks LoveLife.

How about edge-to-edge sharpness/light fall-off? Is WCON-08B better than DCR6600 on FZ20 and FZ30?

Thanks.

All quetions have been answered.

The DCR6600 with speciall TRing or the Novemeber release HD6600 -55 have no rivals on the FZ30 .

Wcon 08 and 07 distort more on any FZ.

The DCR6600 on the FZ10 the picture is up above.

Get it? Got it? ....Good.

Sorry, English is not my first language.

I understand about distortation that DCR6600/HD6600 is better than WCON, but how about contrast/sharpness of the pictures on FZ20?

A side question, will you be making special TRing for TCON-14B/6T/5T as well?

Thanks.
