Hmmmm...

No, they are not excactly the same angle which changes the image a good amount but I'd say that for shots like this the ol' FZ1 doesn't do to badly. So, which is the FZ shot?

No PP was done to either other than to resize. I also like the first image more but some of that comes from simply from the better angle of the shot. I had only taken a handfull of pictures with the FZ and couldn't find any that matched the dslr better than this one in terms of angle of the shot and framing.

The second is from my KM 5D as some of you EXIF cheaters know...hahaha. There are some better much shots of the car from the KM but none from this comparison angle.

if there was no PP done to these, it looks to me like the FZ took by far the better picture... clearer, sharper, and with better contrast. but then, we all know the FZ1 can take some killer shots... :G

The 1st shot definetly is the better one and was the one that I thought came from the FZ1. It just has that punchy look, nice and sharp. However, I'd have prefered the KM shot of the car to have been from the same angle. Just shows you how good that FZ1 is.

Cheers

Okay, let's see, comparing the EXIF data we find:

FZ-1
f/2.8
ISO 100
Spot metering
-.3 EV

KM 5D
f/5.6
ISO 400
Pattern metering
+.3 EV

Maybe a more accurate test would be appropriate
