Hummers are so difficult to photograph, seems like I spent the whole summer trying to get a nice pic of one. I would have prefered to capture one feeding on a pretty flower, no luck!

Real nice shots....I've found just about all small birds to be a challenge. Guess I've got a lot more to learn...and have more patience.

Look forward to seeing more of your photos!

Great shots! I tried all summer trying to get some great hummingbird shots. They were all OK, but I'm always trying to get better. May I ask what your set up was?

Guess we have to try again next summer :-) I took all photos just using the FZ20, no added lens. My birds are pretty used to me being around so I can usually get quite close to them.

Yours are exceptional. Right before Hurricane Rita I had a bunch of hummers arrive, and since Rita, only one or two. Here is one I captured using my old Casio QVS-8000 1.3 MP. I have a lot more to learn about doing this.

Same camera (because of it's zoom capability) but through a glass door. Could not resist.
