Outstanding shots Francesco!!!!!
I like your indexed presentation and have designed my own one (->groynes).
The enlarged pictures have their own (bigger) windows, this is perfect!
But I am loosing the black background! Do you have any idea, how the black background can be preserved in the new window?
Sven

Narmer - It has been a while since i last visited your site and I'm glad I have now - it hashas developed into a force unto itself - simply fabulous.

Just curious - have you sold manyof them for commercial use?

Seemolf, when I post pictures that are in my site I copy the thumbnails links in the "insert image" window(s) and the full size pictures links in "insert link" command.

Now I have no idea how to preserve a black background in the new window.
The html code for new window picture is "target="blank", but there seems to be no possibility to decide the color of this new window (I tried with target color="...." and targer bgcolor..., but it does not work).

Thanks SUze
I have never sold any of them and only printed less than 50 with a small postcard size bubblejet Canon printer.
I have taken far more than 10.000 pics with the FZ20.
But just in these days (next december it will be one year I have it)I thought to print some pics with some good printer in A4 and also in A3 size...

thanks Francesco,

like John (boyzo) I start to use the gallery option in ZOTO. Those thumbnails with all properties can be exported by drag and drop to the edit window! All problems are solved.

I thought of selling pictures to pay my online picture archive, but free 2GB on Zoto will be enough for some time!

Thank you Sven

I was just searching for a free image hosting site (I had to erase some old galleries to make space for the new ones)

I ll check Zoto

Hi Francesco,

don't delete any photos until I have seen all of them!

one short advice for your zoto tests:
I am storing images in "presentation" size -maximum 800*600 up to 100kB.
(this is my own maximum! zoto can store all sizes! - had to add this line lateron because the first description was misleading!)

Resizing in zoto may reduce quality (fred said there is no sharpening).
demonstration of this effect:

I've started a posting to generate a gallery for "original" sizes.

Up to then my thumbs generated by drag and drop are like this:
sizes:
230 means: square
25 means: normal rectangular

20,30 means bigger or smaller rectangular...steps of 5

50 is the gallery size 700*525

the associated link has a pointer to a resized gallery, this can be replaced by:
orginal means: :-) ..... but I guess if we are storing in 700 * 525 there is no resizing?

Meet you at zoto's (this was a hint of arunpd some time ago!)

Sven

ps let's start a friends section down there!
pps I hope we all stay at steve's!
ppps The right spider and its framing is one of the best pictures I've ever seen!

Suze I agree with you Narmer ... (Francesco) is very talented ... his photos have commercial value they could promote the scenic beauty of Italy.
