I've been watching the development of this index idea and trying to decide whether I like it. I've decided it is a good idea.

I find it annoying to scroll across or down a really large photo. I also find plain links tedious as I'd like to have some idea what I'm going to get before following a link. I think indices like the ones you guys have been developing solve those problems, as well as the slow download times for people with dial-up connections. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your methods with the rest of us.

thanks ladyhawk - very encouraging!

Not all of us have a picture account, but I guess we all need one...
So let's end with a zoto demonstration.
This is the associated gallery helping to provide thumbs:

Following is the photoshow - as walkthrough

So start thumping!
Special thanks to steve's und the zoto crew giving us such oportunities!

its magic :G
Sven, Fred, Lin, John, Vito thank You ALL

Am I losing too much picture quality uploading 28 to 60Kb to Zoto? You see at the
moment I'm running 26.4 dial-up and the small files move so much quicker than
large ones. Too, some of the photoshowdown pics I most admire are very small
50Kb files

No need for comments on the pics. They are just quick grabs to test this wonderful
Zoto tool out. Its great. Like Sven said Thanks to all who made this possible for us.

Hi tazzie,
It is a great advantage to post small thumbs to "non-own" threads, as you did just now.
I don't know all rules on steve's, but these thumbs could help us to publish a small abstract of our threads in the photo-sharing forum too.
50 kB could be enough for the frames at steve's.
