he was complaining in a very loud voice, and when my presencescared away the cat, he turned, looked down and...no kidding...he smiled and said thanks...

The cat would L I K E to assimilate the other guy! Then they'd be one indeed. No, the squirrel is as bad as the blue jays in the 'hood as far as being the neighborhood's eye and ears. If either the Jays or the squirrels see this fella wandering around they start making a racket and they don't quit until someone takes a look. I almost got this bushy black gymnast in good focus this time. He moves like Fred Astair on those wires. No problem for him to go head first down telephone poles or brick walls. But he moves fast so catching him is not easy. Keep sending us those fabulous skys, we have a long way to go until next spring. Best regards,
