Ok, I thought I had finally decided on a lens (mcon 40), but then when I was ringing around for prices, someone suggested the Canon 250d. Has anyone got any feedback about the 250d and/or pics using this lens with the FZ5? Thanks in advance.

Hi Loz,

nobody mentioned the nikon 3T, 4T?

These are the usual lenses here for the FZ5 for the (butter)flys and lateron you can update to raynox lenses for extremer/difficult closeups.

But if you can get a used olympus lens for a good price (ebay?) this is a good choice too!

I couldn't find the Nikon's in Oz - but I am considering getting the 6T from B&H (about $105 AUD delivered). I would rather buy local, but this is a pretty good price I think.

What adaptor would I need to fit a 6T and 4T to my FZ5?

Hi,

3T,4T: 52mm -> stepdown 55->52mm
5T,6T: 62mm -> stepup 55->62mm

But I am not the expert for the nikons.....
I am using olympus mcon40 (+2,5diopt.) and alife size (+7.7diopt.).
