You would do well to download both to compare them on a full screen and crop to just the doll's face. You'll freak. :-)

The first photo is 1/4 second, the last 1 second. around 8AM. dim sun
coming through shear drapes.

Kenmck, For what it's worth I have both the FZ20 and the FZ30. I owned and used the 20 for about 5 months before I purchased the 30. I was extremely happy with the 20, it took great pictures and was fun to use. Since I've owned and used the 30 I can honestly say I enjoy it MUCH more than the 20. Some of the new features have made it a real pleasure to use. I'm more than satisifed with the picture quality and the haven't been bothered by the "noise" issue! This isn't to belittle the 20 in any way, and I totally agree with squirl that the 20 is a fantastic camera and takes super pictures, it's just that I've found the FZ30 to be a MORE fantastic , more fun camera to use.
