Squirl you should try a few hundred shots, shooting at an airshow again. I found that the more I shot the more I enjoyed it and the better the shots became...well most of the time! :-) Jim

Hi Kevin, No digital zooms used. Most of the airplane shots were taken at 12x optical zoom. Ended up taking 753 pictures! You would have really liked it! Jim

yeah, maybe next year i'll try to get up to the Abbotsford air show. it's the only major one left up here in the NW. they used to have one at an airport about 15 miles from here every year, but they stopped in the early-mid 90's. there are still exhibitions at the localair force and naval airbases, but they never bring in any cool old stuff... i miss the warbirds! i know if i do get up to Abbotsford, i'll burn through a couple of batteries and at least 2-3 512MB memory cards!

Squirl, Are you aware of a Chapplin (not sure of name) Air Fighter Museum that was recently moved to your area within past yr or 2. Anyway they moved from my area and if you get a chance to visit it I'm sure you would like it and be able to take a bunch of pictures! Jim

Squirl, I think they made the move summer before last. It had been here in Mesa for many years and they had some real nice hard to find planes. You will probably find them at or near one of the airports up there. Jim
