I've been playing around with converting several of my favorite shots to B&W that have the right textures and then I started adding back in a liitle spalsh of color. I like the opinions offered here and would like to know what you think.

Looks good STLBOB ! I do that a lot in some of my photos and suggested it just the other day to a member who had a picture of a cat on a carpet, can't remember who it was!? Anyway you did a nice job! Jim

I like that effect STLBOB

Tiger, I understood what you had mentioned and will probably give it a try when I have time. I am a little uncertian how to go about it as I don't own much in the way of photo processing software but I'll look around and see what people are using that is either free or cheap.
