Here'sanother picture....I was trying to show how the light was hitting that cactus....the haze in the mountains in the background was fairly thick that day and I even hada polarizer on....

I would have gone in closer with #1 and #2
BUT #3 I could have been there you captured what you saw ... nice

Nice ones. You can't get away from the haze (smog) in that area.

Thanks for commenting and the suggestion, John. I have been very frustrated with some of my results lately:?. I seem to be going backward in my progress of learning about photography.......but I do so enjoy it....so I'll forge on.....Thanks, bentleysmom
