Guys & Gals

Is there any chance that those of you that have the FZ30 could possibly post some portrait , macro and landscape shots ?

Cheers

I will. I'd be happy to. I'm even gonna throw in some good examples of what their 1.7X tele will do. As a retired man, with this great and wonderful hobby, I now feel like Zeus since I got my FZ 30! So any excuse to use it turns my crank. (And I hurl lightning bolts) I'll post'em in a cupple uh days. Best regards,

I will see if I can dig up some portraits but I am the worlds worse Macro photographer.

Heres one portrait taken in Walmart at the Halloween parade.

Glad to see more prtraits than this one for I realize the low light does exhibit the noise here. Cropped a bit, otherwise right off the card...

Sorry, no macro shots yet, but will post more in a day or so. I did give some thought to redoing my first portrait shot, but because there has been so much gabble about noise and low light etc as regards the FZ 30, I did include this to show that ya, you can get noise in this type of shot. And here it is. However, having said that, this was allowing the camera to choose all the settings. I may trot back upstairs and interupt the young lad from his homework and see, for comparison's sake, if it can be improved on, by manually tweaking the settings. Again, Harjtt, I wanted to do no processing, just to give a clear idea of what an off the cuff spontaneous shoot might yield as opposed to elaborate lighting, and planned posing etc. Best regards,
