Moin, moin!!
we live in Kiel, I could visit Stade in about one hour if I'm driving fast.
Stade is a nice town, better than Kiel. Sometimes I have to work in Hamburg, this is much closer!
I have never been in America, but my sister stayed at Big Sur for half a year. Since that time I am dreaming of sea otters!

Thanks John!
But I said criticise, so let me translate.
#5 to #9 are "not so good"....ok!
It's a pity, I like #5 so much, it reminds me to something, sniff.

All great shots sven! But just for fun #1 looks like a salad I had at the resturant last night, #7 looks like I felt after eating the salad! and #4 looks like a egg fried on an Arizona sidewalk! :-) Jim

Thanks Jim,
so let the shrooms speak!
#4 is a reborn kentucky fried egg :-)
But #7 can express your feelings a little bit better:

or even worse:

Hi,

there is nice addition in the german forum.

Somebody uses a special prisma (right angle, equal sides) attachable in front of the LCDby velcro tape - as mud prevention and "over the head" tool. This solves the inverted view problem.

I have tested this with an optical toy of my son - looks good. But I will use the upside down - downside up mirror (thinking of Peter Gabriel in this case).

Fabulous, and inspiring. I love how you found so much colour in each frame, each jumps out to grab you. Very impressive :-)

thanks Suze!
my first mushroom thread showed fly agarics and others in bright sunlight.
These ones here were small and growing in a dim forrest. Quite good conditions for the FZ5 if you fix it to 100 Iso and to the ground (tripod). So you don't need flash, bouncing techniques and all the rest.
...and these are all real colours!
The FZ5 did a good job, in most cases I did not even use the tripod - only the mirror, the camera hit the ground .

Moin, moin, Sven. Totally off topic, but here is a shot I took in Stade last summer. Miss the place, but L.A. has a lot to offer, too. If you ever come out here we can go on a photo tour.
