Today went back to my usual haunt. Glad to see the Lynx back, as I have not seen them for awhile. Seems like a different species of Lynx spiders from the usual ones I see, as the body is darker and more opaque. This fella is a male due to the dark pulps.

Took afew shots of them.

FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, F8, ISO 50 various shutter speeds

Excellent -- I love spiders and find your macros fascinating to look at. Well done!

I have enjoyed your macros for over a year now.* I teach science and you always post the most interesting variety of insects for subjects. *I really like #4 it has it all,* action shot of the spider walking, perfect skin tone, interesting scar and perfect background.* Keep posting, I never tire of your shots.* Thanks

Thanks smac! Heh heh, did not know the scar was so obvious until I post processed it. Got it when I was a small boy, and had my finger clamp at a room door hinge...ouch!
