The church that belongs to this steeple is right next to a Burger King in the midst of an UGLY strip mall!. Nevertheless, I see this steeple against the sky every evening when I drive home from work and am constantly amazed at its simple beauty. Shot with my FZ20, aperture 4.0, shutter 1/300 about 5PM a couple of nights ago. Saturation was boosted a little bit.

nice capture, Ladyhawk, it almost looks like the sort of thing you'd see as the intro to one of those television religious programs... simple, elegant, and the sky with that luminous cloud definitely adds a nice touch.

Sometimes very simple compositions are those who work best.
This has a great photographic touch and a perfect PP.
Congratulations
