One of the unique features of the FZ5 is its macro capability at full 12x zoom from only 3 feet away (ie, "tele-macro"). A beautiful day today in Philly - close to 70 deg. Not too many of these left.

Thanks for the comments. The low angle of November sunlight coupled with the wonderful colors of autumn make for some real special situations and the fz5 can go get em. This was taken around 11am.

very nice pic, Fred... and i envy that warm weather! it's been in the low 50's and raining here most every day since Halloween. though today was clear, and tonite promises to drop into the 30's... i still have a rose blooming outside my back door, though i'm not sure how long that'll last after tonite...

thanks Fred,

I needed such a warm picture today.
It's raining the whole day and my english roses are gone.
But I have excellent pictures of them (like FZ5 in canon mode...).
Hope you will see a december rose too.

Great pic!

I just got my fz5 last week, and its a wonderful camera. Right when I got it, I went to my front yard and took flower pics.

Lucky for me that in California it stays relatively warm so flowers and plants are still lively and vibrant.

Here is a November rose in CA =)
