interesting you were able to shoot at f3.7 and 1/250... normally i'd shoot this at f8 to get maximum clarity. the 48x (4x digital zoom) does cost you a bit of sharpness, though...

There was a post here a while back, something about why digicams don't have F-22.
It explained why 3.7 would be sharper than 8. Diffusion or something.

Thought I'd take a quick peek here to see if anyone added anything before I go try again. Good call with the IS and I too always leave mine on the 2nd setting, so it just reacts with the shutter. Very nice results, 2956...actually I'm not disappointed with mine, but when you guys post great shots, it peaks my interest and knowing our equipment is similair, I like to see if I can improve. Looks like we have a much better sky tonight, so off I go.
