FZ5 telemacro from 3 feet away

FZ5 12x w/ bmacro from 13" away

FZ5 4x w/ dcr250 from 5" away

FZ5 12x w/ dcr250 from 5" away

FZ5 12x w/ dcr250 from 5" away

Notice the approximate same magnification of the +3 diopter oly bmacro at 12x zoom and the +8 diopter raynox dcr250 at 4x, which is about as far back in the fz5 zoom the 250 will go before vignetting starts. The bmacro can be used throughout the zoom without vignetting. Also notice the extremely shallow dof of the dcr250 at 12x zoom.

Fred,

I like what you did here. The shots besides being nice to look at also shows what can be done straight out of the camera and add ons.

Nice work on the macros.

It's too bad it can't do IR like the FZ1v2.

Great Test-pics.

maybe Raynox should go backat 3x zoom to providethe the same magnification of Oly b at 12x...

thanks Fred,
excellent comparison.
There are only few threads showing the full range of these lenses.
