A couple of macros I did, just to show you, how a Raynox 150 macro converter performs with the Panasonic FZ30. The images shown are scaled down, not cropped unless mentioned.

All images where shot at long shutter times (1 to 8 seconds) at a distance of ~ 0.2 meters and (around) max. zoom.

does that type of macro lens also act as a wide angle lens for landscape shots?

No it doesn't. As a macro converter it allows focussing at short distances to the object.
