These shots are pretty clear and noise free for lowlight iso 200. The really amazing thing is the efficiency of the fz5 OIS system. Both are handheld at 1/4s. The verticle shot is actually a little overexposed; could have gone to -2/3 ev but that might have brought some more noise in. The close up is in macro mode at -1.33 ev

Absolutely NOT - and I was using the lcd rather the prefered evf on the closeup. That's the main reason (along with size) I shy away from dslr. Maybe iso1600 would have gotten to 1/60s here but that still would probably have needed IS.

I keep my fz5 in OIS #1.When I first got it, I used #2 as that seemed to be the preferred among fz20 users. After a couple of months I switched to pany's recommended #1 setting and left it there.
