One thing Calgary has for it is a spectacular viewing at night. Up high on this ridge over looking the North side of the city is just one place one can walk and enjoy the lights.

The first and second are my favorites. A bit of a crop from the bottom to give it that pano look would give it a bit more visual impact.

Downright excellent nightshots.

Thank you everyone for those comments. I had been waiting for some time to be in that part of town to take those.

I love the night shots! I was thinking a couple of things while looking at the pics. If you changed the camera to a longer focal length, and then also a longer exposure time, would you be able to keep the shutter open long enough so that the cars driving by in the bottom would travel through the entire frame, making long unbroken streaks of light? I'm just curious if manipulating the exposure and Fstop would allow you to keep the shutter open long enough for that added effect?
