Hi all. I have owned an FZ-10 for the past 2 years now and really love this camera. I was thinking of buying an FZ-30 til I heard all this stuff about how bad the noise levels are. Is it really that much worse than the FZ10? I must admit that noise really does bug me. I only shoot at iso50 on my FZ10. Can anyone who owned an FZ10 then upgraded to the FZ30 tell me honestly how much worse the noise levels are?

There is more noise in every shot with the FZ30 but in poor lighting where the noise was bad with the FZ10 the FZ30 handles that much better in my opinion.

Here are a bunch of FZ30 shots most of which are straight from the camera and you can view them at most any size you wish.

Almost all of them were taken in Program mode with the ISO set on auto ...the exif is also there so you can judge for yourself.

I have an FZ-15 for the last year, I just upgraded to FZ-30 andthe noise level seems to be the same. Probably you could notice more noise because 8 MP, but I honestly see no any difference.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I really don't care about noise in FZ-30, at least not more than in FZ-15.
