Thanks very much! From experience I know it's too easy to make an assumption that can cause a later mistake .. so I try to make SURE I get the details right up front.

Definitely, closer to the lens is better! CK's Digital Camera Page doesn't mention the Cring or the Phayee adapters (popular in forums) but the information is great.

The Cring adapteris newer than that Page at CK's...believe me that Lovelifes adapter is a well made adapter.



And CK believes that the Phayee is a knockoff of the Chen adapter so he does not support it.
