I don't normally take flower shots but thought this one came out pretty good from the lil' FZ1. This was part of a flower arrangement that we had out for Thanksgiving. I did do minimal PP work to it...auto levels correction and a little sharpening with the Gimp.

I've been taking shots of things around the house with the FZ alot lately. My wife has been sharing them with coworkers for use as weekly backgrounds and screensavers. Not excactly Pro work but at least someone is looking forward to my shots:-)

i can see why. the FZ1 isn't top of the MP heap by far, and it's getting a little out of date compared to some of the newer offerings on the market, but it's still a terrific little camera, and can take some absolutely amazing shots!! hang onto it ... it's a little gem!

Nice flower shots. I sold my FZ 1 when I upgraded to FZ 15 and have regretted it ever since. It's going to be a nice camera forever.

Thanks!

I actually sold my FZ3 when I picked up a Konica Minolta 5D but just couldn't part with this camera. It seems to be one of those cameras that you just can't replace no matter what else you have in your bag. Great little camera!
