Nice shots. A lot of people don't like seagulls but I enjoy watching them and admire their adaptability. I have seen them basking in the sun of Southern California and floating on an iceberg in Alaska.

they're basically the "sanitary engineers" of the beach, but they are incredibly graceful in flight. i want to get on a ferry next summer and get some nice flight shots... the gulls "draft" the ferries, soaring almost motionless right above and behind, or sometimes right alongside, and it makes for great photo ops.

Squirrl

Nice shots - No one and 3 for me. The reflection in the first and the 3rd with the way you've captured the seagull just landing or taking off.

Cheers

thanks, HarjTT... i ran #3 through PS to remove the birds in the background, and isolate just the one with his wings spread... makes quite a difference...

wow Sir Squirl!

#1 nice idea of the nature to add the contrast missing above in the mirror below!

#3 is outstanding -old and new.

#5 wonderful - even better without the sign?

I like seaguls, one of the them is visiting us every day during breakfast - just to say hello!
