I tried to capture a firework on a moving ship, but this was to much for my OIS!
plant #2 is my favourite!

Thanks Mtngal ! I didn't do anything special but shoot them in Fireworks mode ! I zoomed in on some, more than others, and all were handheld. I didn't have this good of luck with the FZ20. Although it would catch some of the shots, (fireworks) it would also blur a lot. The bad shots with the FZ30 was about 2 out of 40 ! Jim

Thanks Sven, I would think that shooting fireworks while on anything that was moving with be quite a challenge ! Jim

Beautiful shots Jim! 2 bad out of 40 shots is surreal to me. #3 looks like bubbles comming up out of water. then the big burst. Don

Nice shots Jim. I am partial to 1 and 2. Question, did you zoom in more on no. 3 and 4 than on the others?
