Hi
I have got a new FZ20. Can anyone tell me, is it possibel to use Vivitar 283
as extenaly flash in automatic.

Is it bether to use Pan FL28

The 283 is mostlikely not safe to use as the trigger voltage could be too high.

I am not 100% sure of this but if it was made in china I think its safe if it was made else where its not safe.

About 1/3 of the way down this page are instructions on how to measure the voltage of your flash...over 24 volts is dangerous.

Also they sell a safe sync thing to lower the voltage but its abpout the price of a new flash.

Thank's for your responce. After look in your attached links, and as a new user, i think it is best to buy the panasonic fl28.
