Since the stupid sun hasn't shown for weeks I decided to focus on another stellar object... I wonder if the white speck at 10 o'clock is some sort of intelligent life form?

FZ5, full 12x zoom, manual settings, tripod, OIS off.

Nice, clean shot makarjal! And I know about the missing sun!

However, it looks like that speck is just a pimple...

Shot today with FZ30, TCON17, 3MP, 2x digital

Heheh, PeHa, good to know I'm not the only one waiting for the sun...

I still suspect the aliens are having some sort of light show on the moon in my picture , as I think we're looking at different spots. To my eyes it looks like the pimple you've blown up in your picture is the one marked on the pic below.. Not sure, though.

You nearly convinced me!I understand now aboutconvinced UFO people :-)!

Look carefully, it sure is the pimple. Your image is much sharper with more contrast, the spot you're pointing atis hardly visible on mine.

Cheers!

That is a large city with a lot of lights and cars which, when viewed from this distance, looks like a single bright spot. Very few people know about the city on the moon

Very nice moon shot Makarjal ! Amazing you caught the reflection of the laser beam I was bouncing off the moon ! Second thought that's probably where the guy who was "Riding on the Bomb" impacted after his propane tank blew! :-) Jim

Homer (Simpson) and I used to vacation regularlythere with our families, right up until Flanders and Smithers started showing up. Now that you've let the W H O L E world know...I guess everyone else will be waiting in line for the next shuttle. Oh well.... Merry Christmas anyway...
