They are all good. As a picture I like #5, but it isn't as effective as #3 in conveying that incredible amount of cold. I like #1 best.

Gorgeous, gorgeous shots, Winston. I actually love the colored one with the icy bushesand the deep blue water. They are all wonderful. Do you have a gallery somewhere?

Rduve... i don't actually have a "gallery" anywhere. i suppose i should set one up someplace, but it's not something real high on my "to-do" list at the moment. the closest i have is a Photobucket account, which is where i store many of the pics i post on the site, but there are a lot of shots there that are little more than snapshots, and some that i've never posted, or that are duplicates or slight variations on the same subejct. if you want to take a peek, here's the link...

Thanks. Yes, that's what I meant by "gallery", a place where you store your photos. I really like a lot of yours. Here are mine, by the way: http://euromaninla.zoto.com/galleries

That was my first impression as well. The colors look very cool (also in the true sense of the word).

The other are also very nice. Especially #2 somehow has a very calming atmosphere to it

i ran it through NeatImage and let it overdo the NR, which is what produced the soft, feathery look. the only other PP was a slight boost to saturation to accentuate the blue in the water.

i'm seriously considering adding an 8x10 print of this oneto my collection...
