took a quick trip up into the Cascade foothills this afternoon, to see if i could get any decent shots. i couldn't go too far, as my tires are a bit worn and not really suitable for snow, so i stayed at the lower elevations, below about 2500 feet. even at that, the wind from the mountains was freezing, and i didn't stay out of the car long at any one time. these aren't as scenic as i'd like, but they offer a hint of winter in the Cascades. this is about 45 minutes from my home...

Winston these are Beautiful shots .... Blue sky ... Sun ... Snow ... bare Branched Birch trees ... the creek bed with snow...
