Interesting cone - is that a pine or a fir, or is there a difference? Botany wasn't my thing, but that looks like an entirely different tree than what's around here. Good capture, especially since it is so small (and I thought our pinon pine cones were small - they are giants compared to that one!).

Nice colors and composition, Hiroshi. The cone looks almost B&W amidst other bright colors, adding a new dimension to the picture.
