Beautiful flower. I'm looking forward to seeing this plant when more flowers are in bloom. I love cacti - they are fascinating plants.

Thanks John. That's what I guessed. Are your summers terribly hot? Ours are generally pretty mild but we sometimes have days in the 90s (F). Tomorrow is our 1st day of winter here and it was 83ºF here after a low of 67ºF. That is really quite summer like for us. Definitely warmer than normal for this time of year.:G

Thats a nice winter Lee 83-67 F its good for old bones and dry too but not so good for allergies but then again that seems warmer than normal for a winter San Diego way.

Lee we Top 100F in the peak of summer but the summer here is mostly 70 - 80F our latitude is same as San Fran but we sre under the equator SF is above.
We don't get there Fog tho'

You all are so lucky. Its been sooo cold here that anything in the 30s F is considered a heat wave  Weve had snow since Thanksgiving, I work outside its supposed to be above34 and Im certainly looking forward to it.

The pics are great I especially like the ones in your other thread. The only flowering cati I have seen are the ones they shove dried flowers into
