so, i've been toying with the idea of putting together a photo calendar as a gift for a friend, or perhaps to hang in my home office. anyway, i mentionedtheideain passing to a former colleague who's seen some of my pictures, and she immediately informed me she wanted to buy one, before she even know what images i was planning to use! :O i sent her copies of the photos i plan to use (see link), and she said she will see if anyone else there wants to order one as well. this could get interesting! here's the "collection"...

Very nice collection. What software are you using to make the calendar?

Very nice selection of photos - they'll make a good calendar. Are you going to do it all yourself or are you going to use one of the internet photo services to put it together?

Great idea Squirl. I know friends and family will love it. I made up a couple of calendars for people this year, one of our trip to Egypt (it's hard choosing just 12 out of nearly 700!!!) and one of scenery shots. For myself I made one of bird pictures. Everyone loved them so I know that with your excellent photos yours will be a great success. Any idea what price you would charge if you sold them?

Garth.

thanks all, for the encouraging comments! :G

yes, Mtngal, i'm using online photo services to put this together.i don't own a photo-grade printer, and have found that it's cheaper (for the quantities and sizes i print) and better print quality, to have prints made by pros. this will cost me $11.95 for the calendar itself, and $4.95 for shipping. i can get you a link if you're interested.

as to pricing, Garth, it'll probably be somewhere around $23-$25, depending on how many i need to make. i sold a matted 8x10 printa while back for $35, so i don't figure $25 is too much for a calendar with 13 8x10's on it!

Great work, Winston. Very professional looking collection. Let me have the link to the $11.95 calendar. I have been paying more than that.

Happy Holidays, all!
