Oh yeah! It often looks like that around here this time of year. Those conditions really benefit from a softer focus. You've really gotten the mood...
Here's one taken out our front window with my old FZ1 on a sunny day. I like this view because it's the same one somebody could see 100 years ago.

This is outside my window...during the same snow storm!

Your's is a more dramatic view of a beautiful city...mine is more suburban, lol.
