Lask week I went to Tlacotalpan. It is a beautiful town, near a big river. It feels like the time was stopped 50 years ago. The people living there say "We live in paradise", and I think they are rigth.

It doesn't matter if it is a foggy morning, rainy or sunny day. It is great all the time.

Any comment or critique is very welcome.

I'm always a bit apprehensive about offering suggestions. You are clearly a gifted photographer. The second image, for example, is just about perfect. But I do want to make a suggestion on some of the others. The first and fifth, for example, are wonderful "frames," but lack a subject being framed. You have presented a context that makes us want to view the photo, but what I would like to see is something that resides within the image that suggests not only a place, but a story. Perhaps a craggy-faced local sitting in the protico who seems to be as timeless as the town. You are more talented than I, so take my critique for what it's worth.

Great series, MSantos!

Your last pic has "Homeward (or Outward) Bound" written all over it.

Do submit it for Steve's Photo of the Day!
