The Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, is one of the newer Hotels on the strip. These are a few pictures of inside and outside, taken last weekend. Jim

#2 The outside of the Hotel is surrounded by a canal. Gondolas' and Gondoliers take visitors for a ride both outside and inside the Hotel, while singing!

Jim,
I allways thought that the Americans live in a different time...
Excellent shots by the way!

Kind regards

great shots of a spectacular place... i wonder, though, if they used the wrong Roman numerals for several numbers on their clock intentionally, or if they simply don't know the correct ones??

It looks like a 24 hour clock 1-24. In this case, the 1 starts around 4 on a 12 hour clock. Current time on that clock: 3:30 PM or 15:30....give or take.
