Popped into the west end today - right itno Covent Garden and then to the south bank to capture the scate boarders. No joy with the skateboarder, the weather here in the Uk has been overcast for weeks if its not rainign its clouded over completely. I even went for ISO400 but just couldn;t get the correct shutter speeds and details in the pics to be happy. I'm hopign for some sun by Tuesday and will try again.

Here's some pict's that i did get - as usual all hand held at ISO50/100, low settings, some wee USM and bright contrast in Photoshop.

1. A jester!

Pic 6. Last shot - another angle of the same bridge. I think I'm going to retake this shot and at a slower aperture, f6 may be and with a tripod:

The first bridge pic is very cool. About the Jester and the Fairy Queen, were they "living statues"?

Nice street shots Harj

I liked the Fairy Queen

Overcast light does not seem to be a drawback if anything a little less exposure, but this could be no other place than London.

Gooday John

As we all know the FZ10/20's kind of over expose by -1/3 to -1 so today I just tried to get the exposure spot on.

Regards the fairy queen she was very lovely indeed. Does a sweet little wave of the wond too

The 2nd bridge shot definetly needs to be redone but without a tripod I had to stick to f2.8 and shoot at 1/13s.

I bumped into a guy witha Canon D300 + 75-300 IS Lens. Damn was that bit of glasss huge and slower than the FZ too!

Cheers

HArj
