if he is, he's really doing poorly! actually, that building has probably been unoccupied for years. realtors around here make a LOT of money... the housing market is crazy - the median price of a house in this area is well over $350,000. which of course is far beyond the means of the median wage earner. it doesn't take many sales commissions at those house prices to make a very handsome living.

It's worse down here, where that kind of money might get you a condo or a townhome in a rundown neighborhood.

I like the sepia tone ones more.

In the secon one I feel the lack of a more restricted DOF which FZ20 and any compact or UZ has, which would have allowed a more adequate blurring of the bushy background (which in this case is impossible to achieve with PP)

Squirl, I think the detail shows up better in sepia, looks good ! Did you notice the designs along the face board of the roof? They looked pretty interesting ! Jim

they're pictograms from the old Indian culture here back in the 17-1800's. similar things appear on totem poles and Indian artwork from the NW...

I still cant get used to digital B&W I prefer film. Theyre nice though I like the first especially in sepia.
