People are addicted to their cell phones and they add another notch to the almost unbearable noise levels in the cities. They sit at restaurant tables facing each other talking on their cells to other people. They scream into their phones because they cannot hear the other party. They rollerblade, drive cars dribble basketballs with the phone glued to their ear. Where will this all end?

simple answer:
the FZ6 will have a cell phone chip, giving us the opportunity to send such excellent shots directly to the forum....
But we all are on the lucky side of life. We are freezing time and not only wasting it like these fast living people.

I love cell phones:

"Sweetheart," says I on the cell phone at the camera store. "I've found this lovely new camera that I want - it's only $900. Can I buy it?"

"Sure," says my other half who knows nothing about cameras. "You can get the camera if I can buy something equally practical, like this Corvette I'm looking at here at the auto dealer."

Well, maybe not...

I did not say I hate cell phones just that it seems to bring out some unwanted traits in a large segment of the …Da de dum da da DA…. Oh sorry I got to take this important call. …Yes the large bottle and a dozen roses..

I agree with your lamentations. A few years ago I was volunteering at a Salvation Army Christmas kettle when I saw a lady park her car with the phone at her ear, walk by me while chatting on her phone, come back out of the store about 10 minutes later while still talking (phone in one hand, bags in the other), load her car and drive away while still talking. I was amazed. That must have been some fascinating conversation!
